The Bower School of Music at FGCU is hosting a viola master class on Tuesday, April 12 from 4:30-6:30 PM. The guest artist will be Mark Jackobs, violist with The Cleveland Orchestra and faculty member at the Cleveland Institute of Music. FGCU students will be performing works by Bach, Schubert and Stamitz.

Now in its 19th year, “Summerfest” teams a European orchestra with members of the Broward County-based Symphony of the Americas for performances in Florida and in Central and South America. The Mont Blanc orchestra includes professional musicians from France, Italy and Switzerland. Its repertoire ranges from the Baroque era to the 20th century.
