The Florida Chapter of the American String Teachers Association is proud to offer the following performance based opportunity to Elementary Aged students currently in grades 2-5. “PLAY-A-PIECE DAY” will be a fun day of performing in a non-competitive, non-graded environment. This event is open to all students in public and private schools, as well as private studio and home schooled students. Qualified adult musicians and educators will adjudicate the students. Through “PLAY-A-PIECE DAY”, we hope to encourage these students to enjoy making music as well as to improve their performance skills. This is a great way to celebrate their hard work throughout the school year.
